In the eyes of many people, swimming is the first choice of summer fitness. In fact, swimming is a sport suitable for all seasons. A few laps in the endless blue pool will not only relax us, but also help us strengthen our physique, eliminate fatigue, and create a smooth and beautiful body. However, before enjoying the cool off, be sure to do a good warm-up exercise!
Warm up before swimming can not only prevent sports injuries, but also avoid cramping in the water and encountering safety accidents. The amount of warm-up exercise can also be determined according to the temperature, and generally the body can sweat slightly.
After swimming, swimmers can also do some water ventilation exercises to adapt to the water environment more quickly. Generally speaking, it is a good choice for you to do some jogging, freehand exercises, stretching muscles and ligaments and swimming imitation movements before swimming.
The following warm-up exercises will hopefully help you:
1. Rotate your head forward and back left and right, stretching your neck muscles, and repeat 10 times.
2. Rotate one arm around your shoulders, then wrap both arms around your shoulders.
3. Lift one arm up, bend to the opposite side and extend as far as possible, switch arms and repeat.
4. Sit on the ground with your legs together and straight in front of you. Reach your hands forward to touch your toes, hold, and repeat.
5. Extend one hand behind the head to the opposite shoulder, point the elbow upward, and hold the elbow with the other hand to pull the opposite side. Switch arms. Repeat.
6. Sit on the ground with your legs extended apart, bend your body to one side so that your face is against your knee, and repeat on the other side.
7. Sit on the floor with one leg straight in front of you and one leg bent back, with your torso extended forward and then leaning back. Repeat several times, switch to the other leg. And turn your ankles gently.
